i was going for a valentine's of nerudian proportions
sitting in a facial on icka's floor trying to craft my first card
it looks like a 3rd grader made it :(
thankfully i have truffles and a short skirt as back-up.

a handmade valentine with a third grader look shows it was made with love. way better than some dumb store bought card.

actually i'm laying on the couch wishing it weren't valentine's day. i've been sick with a sinus infection the past week, and decided to boycott valentine's day (for the most part) this year.

in the past however, i've been known to hand-make a few valentines myself ;)

are they homemade truffles? those are the best. i made truffles once and couldn't believe how much better they tasted.

nope, they are organic french truffles :P
truffles confuse me, they're a spendy mushroom that special pigs dig up, yet i've seen recipes for them that don't mention a thing about mushrooms or pigs, wtf pls.

i do indeed once in a while if i have sinus probs or i'm really stuffed up.
i use it in the shower though, since otherwise it gets messy and just overall vile for me. mine is plastic, ceramic seems too easy to break, and metal ones make me uncomfortable.

They are 2 different things... Ther are truffles which are aquired how you said, with pigs in France, and then there are Chocolate Truffles which were named after the ones the pigs dig up because they look similar.

i did! i used the sewing kit to make the card, also i borrowed some of your supplies
i used a page of that large drawing pad you have against your bookshelf, and a page of this recycled paper you have in the polka-dot notebook on your table, and some glitter and pens you have.
i was going to use the dish to make roasted garlic eggplant but i think i am making gnocchi for dinner instead.

the paper inside the pokie dot book is awesome.
i cut 3 pieces of that, and sewed them together to make a sort of 3-page booklet, and each page had a verse from a pablo neruda sonnet.
i glued that onto a cardboard heart i cut out of the big drawing paper, and that was glued upon a black tulle heart i cut out of an old retarded goth veil i had lying around. the whole thing got doused in disgusting amounts of glitter, and looks pretty rertarded and gay [no really, you should see the colours].

i like to use teabags to hide notes and poems in. i have made them for various humans, but it's mostly a waste. prolly cos the gifties sit in my lingerie drawer for all eternity and never see the light of day after i make them.

for me it's the former, it's unfortunate that beginings usually come from endings, but change is good.
