go to normally update your lj
type whatever you msg is, then before you post, scroll all the way to the bottom of the update page
see the buttons for updating, and spell-checking? to the right of that there should be a drop down menu with all the communities you are a member of, including [info]lagoth.
select [info]lagoth from that drop-down list, preview to make sure it's posting wher eyou want it, and voila, easy as cake.
